Lemon Sauce #3

Comments: Serve over gingerbread
1 tbl. cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
3 tbl. butter or margarine
1 tea. grated lemon rind
3 tbl. lemon juice
Mix cornstarch and sugar in small saucepan.
Stir in boiling water.
Cook over med. heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat.
Stir in Butter or margarine, lemon rind and juice. Cool
Makes about 1 1/4 cups
